Neuroscience is a fascinating area in the field of market research. Using the technology of facial coding, VR and EEG recordings of brain waves, Neuroscience studies and measures the unconscious responses that consumers experience with brands. Ipsos Neuroscience needed an overall, comprehensive promotion with high-level messaging to introduce this idea to both clients and Ipsos researchers.
As VP of Creative Strategy at Ipsos’ Innovation Division OTX, As copywriter on the project I developed a script that took inspiration from a Carl Jung quote about the unconscious and accompanying visuals to make the viewer feel like they are entering the unconscious. The end result is a promotion that seems a world away from traditional market research. One that is filled with technology, mystery, philosophy and science.
